Taktile is seeking a Senior Forward Deployed Engineer to empower financial institutions to become AI-native organizations. This role involves leading complex AI-driven deployments from initial scoping to production, applying technical expertise to solve real-world challenges, and designing solution architectures. You will develop decision logic, deploy Generative AI agents, and ensure a positive customer experience with rapid time to value. The position requires effective work scoping, delivery sequencing, and proactive blocker removal, balancing scope, speed, and quality for successful project completion. You will also collaborate with the product management team to translate customer needs into product insights and influence the product roadmap, while developing reusable resources to scale the forward deployed engineering function.
Responsibilities
- Lead complex AI-driven Taktile deployments in production, owning technical delivery from scoping to stable production.
- Apply technical expertise and problem-solving skills to design solution architectures and develop decision logic for Generative AI agents.
- Align with key customer stakeholders to ensure outstanding experience and rapid time to value.
- Effectively scope work, sequence delivery, and proactively remove blockers, making trade-offs for timely project delivery.
- Partner with product management to translate customer needs into actionable product insights and influence the product roadmap.
- Develop reusable resources, best practices, and tools to scale the forward deployed engineering function.
Requirements
- 4-6 years of engineering or technical deployment experience, including customer-facing work.
- Strong technical background, preferably in Computer Science, Mathematics, Software Engineering, Physics, or Data Science.
- Proficiency in writing and reviewing production-grade Python and SQL.
- Strong command of REST API design and integrations.
- Ability to break down complex problems and make informed decisions under pressure.
- Skill in building strong relationships with technical and business stakeholders.
- Curiosity and a customer-centric mindset.
- Collaborative, curious, and low-ego approach to working across product, engineering, and GTM teams.
- Genuine desire to understand customers' businesses.
