Taktile is seeking a Senior Forward Deployed Engineer to empower financial institutions to become AI-native organizations. This role involves leading complex AI-driven deployments from initial scoping to production, applying technical expertise to solve real-world challenges, and designing solution architectures. You will develop production-grade Generative AI agents, manage stakeholder relationships, and ensure rapid time-to-value for customers. The position also requires scoping work, sequencing delivery, proactively removing blockers, and making trade-offs to ensure timely project completion. Additionally, you will partner with the product management team to translate customer needs into product insights and develop reusable resources to scale the engineering function.
Responsibilities
- Lead complex AI-driven Taktile deployments in production, owning technical delivery from scoping to stable production.
- Apply technical expertise and problem-solving skills to help organizations address real-world challenges.
- Design solution architectures, develop decision logic, and deploy production-grade Generative AI agents.
- Align with key customer stakeholders to ensure an outstanding experience and rapid time to value.
- Scope work, sequence delivery, and proactively remove blockers, balancing scope, speed, and quality.
- Partner with product management to translate customer needs into actionable product insights.
- Develop reusable resources, best practices, and tools to share expertise and scale the forward deployed engineering function.
Requirements
- 2+ years of engineering or technical deployment experience, including customer-facing work.
- Strong technical background, preferably in Computer Science, Mathematics, Software Engineering, Physics, or Data Science.
- Proficiency in writing and reviewing production-grade Python and SQL.
- Strong command of REST API design and integrations.
- Ability to break down complex problems and make quick, well-informed decisions under pressure.
- Skill in building strong relationships with technical and business stakeholders.
- Customer-centric mindset with a curiosity to understand customer needs and challenges.
- Collaborative, curious, and low-ego approach, working effectively across product, engineering, and GTM teams.
- Open to a hybrid work model, with at least three days per week in the NYC office.
