Taktile is seeking a Forward Deployed Engineer to join their team in São Paulo. This role involves leading complex AI-driven Taktile deployments in production, owning technical delivery from scoping high-impact Agentic AI use cases to stable production. You will apply technical expertise and creativity to help organizations solve real-world challenges, which may include designing solution architectures, developing decision logic, deploying Generative AI agents, and aligning with key customer stakeholders. The position requires effective scoping, sequencing delivery, proactively removing blockers, and making thoughtful trade-offs to ensure successful project completion. You will also partner with the product management team to translate customer needs into actionable product insights and develop reusable resources to scale the forward deployed engineering function.
Responsibilities
- Lead complex AI-driven Taktile deployments in production.
- Own technical delivery across multiple deployments, from scoping use cases to production.
- Design solution architectures and develop decision logic.
- Deploy production-grade Generative AI agents.
- Align with key customer stakeholders to ensure outstanding experience and rapid time to value.
- Scope work, sequence delivery, and proactively remove blockers.
- Make trade-offs between scope, speed, and quality for timely project delivery.
- Partner with product management to translate customer needs into product insights.
- Develop reusable resources, best practices, and tools for the forward deployed engineering function.
Requirements
- 2-6 years of engineering or technical deployment experience with customer-facing work.
- Fluent in English and Portuguese.
- Strong technical background, preferably in Computer Science, Mathematics, Software Engineering, Physics, or Data Science.
- Proficiency in writing and reviewing production-grade Python and SQL.
- Strong command of REST API design and integrations.
- Ability to break down complex problems and make quick, well-informed decisions.
- Ability to build strong relationships with technical and business stakeholders.
- Curious and customer-centric mindset.
- Collaborative, curious, and low-ego approach.
- Based in the São Paulo area and comfortable traveling for in-person meetings.
