About the job
Anthropic is seeking experienced full-stack engineers to join teams focused on current and emergent AI products. You will be a technical leader, taking end-to-end ownership of the user experience for products like Claude.ai, the Anthropic API, and enterprise deployments. This role involves partnering with product leaders, designers, and researchers to translate new model capabilities into user-facing features. You will own technical quality across the stack, including performance, accessibility, reliability, and developer experience, with the goal of scaling solutions to millions of global users. The teams are focused on various areas including developer tools, beneficial deployments for non-profits and educational institutions, vertical AI products for finance and life sciences, enterprise AI solutions, and public sector applications.
Responsibilities
- Build products and tools such as consoles, SDKs, documentation, and observability features for developers.
- Develop access programs, tooling, and product features to make frontier AI usable for organizations with limited resources.
- Create purpose-built AI experiences for specific industries like financial services and life sciences.
- Develop enterprise AI products that enable Claude to operate effectively across various workflows.
- Build systems for large organizations, including identity and permissions, and security features, to enable scaled adoption of Claude.
- Design and implement extensibility features like plugins and skills.
- Develop context-aware features, including enterprise knowledge integration and retrieval layers.
- Build proactive AI features that suggest actions or capture workflows.
- Develop products for the public sector, including government agencies.
- Own technical quality across the full stack, focusing on performance, accessibility, reliability, and developer experience.
