Scale is seeking a product leader to build Agentic AI platforms for national-level decisions, including critical national security challenges. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of product leadership, software engineering principles, and deep experience with ML/AI application development. This role requires a strategic leader adept at navigating government GenAI projects, ensuring alignment with agency objectives and adhering to security and compliance mandates. The product manager will oversee the entire lifecycle of the generative AI platform, from design and execution to prioritization and stakeholder engagement, with a key focus on secure operation within controlled environments and support for government workflows, particularly national defense.
Responsibilities
- Develop enterprise-grade solutions leveraging cutting-edge AI and AI agents for public sector customers.
- Collaborate with executives to define and execute product strategy.
- Own end-to-end product development, including understanding customer pain points, defining requirements, managing development, testing, and launches.
- Lead cross-functional teams (engineering, product design, operations, marketing, go-to-market, finance).
- Develop and execute strategies for commercializing built solutions.
- Maintain a Top Secret security clearance.
Requirements
- Technical degree in computer science, engineering, or equivalent experience.
- 4+ years of experience building ML-powered and/or enterprise-facing products.
- Strong understanding of generative AI technologies and their applications in public or large-scale private sector settings.
- Experience operating in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment.
- Exceptional leadership, presentation, and communication skills.
- Data literacy and experience with data analytics.
- Prior military or government experience.
- Coding experience (e.g., Python).
