Scale is seeking a Staff Agent Post-Training ML Research Engineer to join our Enterprise ML Research Lab. This role will focus on building out our next-generation Agent RL training platform, integrating cutting-edge research to train best-in-class Agents for real enterprise use-cases. You will contribute to the development of AI applications that are becoming vital across all sectors, from cybersecurity LLMs to foundation healthtech search models, shaping the future of the modern GenAI movement.
Responsibilities
- Train state-of-the-art models for enterprise customers.
- Research and integrate cutting-edge algorithms into the training stack.
- Design solutions for complex multi-agent systems to learn from process and outcome-based rewards.
Requirements
- 5+ years of LLM training in a production environment.
- Experience with post-training methods like RLHF/RLVR and related algorithms (PPO/GRPO).
- Publications in top conferences (NEURIPS, ICLR, ICML) within the last two years.
- PhD or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
