Sola is transforming the future of digital work by developing AI agents that enable effortless automation. Their platform powers enterprise workflows in various industries for Fortune 100 companies. As one of the first dedicated ML platform hires, you will work directly with the CTO to bring state-of-the-art AI capabilities into production. This role focuses on engineering, owning the systems that ensure AI reliability, observability, and scalability, and translating AI research into production features. The position is based in NYC, with a strong belief that in-person collaboration is key for early-stage companies.
Responsibilities
- Partner with the CTO to transition AI research and experiments into production-grade features.
- Investigate and prototype new AI capabilities, assessing feasibility for production.
- Build infrastructure for observability and evaluations to monitor and measure AI model performance in production.
- Take end-to-end ownership of AI features, from design and deployment to monitoring, collaborating with other teams.
Requirements
- 3+ years of engineering experience, with recent work on cutting-edge ML and AI systems.
- Experience owning production AI features end-to-end, including experimentation and live infrastructure maintenance.
- Proficiency in Python and hands-on experience with modern ML frameworks like PyTorch, HuggingFace, or DSPy.
- Willingness to work 5 days a week in the NYC office.
