About the job
Sim is building a platform to create autonomous AI agents for enterprise systems. The agent harness is the core system that ingests and reasons over a knowledge graph of company context to build and operate these agents. You will own the systems responsible for context retrieval, planning and execution, tool use, memory, and failure recovery. Your work will involve building evaluations and using production traces to enhance how company knowledge is translated into reliable agent behavior, directly shaping the harness architecture and future capabilities.
Responsibilities
- Own the systems for context retrieval, planning and execution, tool use, memory, and failure recovery within the agent harness.
- Build evaluations to measure agent performance.
- Use production traces to improve how company knowledge is translated into reliable agent behavior.
- Shape the harness architecture and future capabilities based on findings.
Requirements
- Ability to reason about how agents retrieve and use company context, including knowledge graphs, tool calls, memory, and context management.
- Ability to translate reasoning about agent context into reliable systems.
- Ability to design evaluations, diagnose failures across retrieval, model behavior, and execution.
- Ability to use evidence to improve task quality, latency, and cost.
- New graduates are welcome; projects, internships, and independent work are considered.
