Sierra is seeking an Agent Strategist to lead the development and launch of AI agents for retail clients. This role sits at the intersection of product development and customer-facing work, transforming complex business problems into effective AI solutions. You will own the entire agent development lifecycle, from initial scoping and conversation design to production launch and continuous iteration. You will act as a trusted strategic advisor to enterprise leaders, understanding their business objectives and shaping AI strategies to achieve them. Additionally, you will collaborate closely with customer teams, troubleshoot issues, and ensure projects stay on track for successful launches. Your work will directly influence product development by surfacing unmet customer needs to the research and platform teams.
Responsibilities
- Own the Agent Development Life Cycle from scope to production launch and iteration.
- Translate business goals into high-performing AI agents.
- Serve as a trusted strategic advisor to enterprise customer executives.
- Understand customer business needs and shape AI strategies.
- Partner with customer working teams, run working sessions, and troubleshoot agents.
- Make decisions to keep agent builds on track for launch.
- Surface unmet customer needs to inform product and platform development.
Requirements

- Experience following engineering tradeoffs in design discussions.
- Proven track record of managing multiple complex, high-visibility projects to successful outcomes.
- Genuine interest in Financial Services and improving end customer experience.
- Experience in financial technology, implementations at financial institutions, or familiarity with financial services security and compliance requirements is a strong plus.
