Sierra is seeking an Agent Strategist to lead the development and deployment of AI agents for healthcare clients. This role sits at the intersection of product, engineering, and customer engagement, transforming complex business problems into effective AI solutions. You will guide agents from initial concept through to production, ensuring they meet business goals and deliver measurable impact. This position requires a strategic mindset, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to build trusted relationships with enterprise leaders and their teams.
Responsibilities
- Own the entire Agent Development Life Cycle, from scoping and conversation design to evaluation, launch, and continuous iteration.
- Translate business goals into AI agent performance that exceeds expectations.
- Serve as a trusted strategic advisor to enterprise clients, understanding their business objectives and shaping AI strategies.
- Collaborate with customer working teams, facilitating sessions, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring projects stay on track for launch.
- Identify and communicate unmet customer needs to the research and platform teams to influence future product development.
Requirements
- Demonstrated customer obsession with a passion for understanding client needs and building trusted relationships.
- Excellent communication skills, capable of engaging effectively with both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Strong analytical and critical-thinking skills for strategic problem-solving in ambiguous environments.
- Technical aptitude, including comfort with API documentation, data models, system architecture, and engineering trade-offs.
- Proven track record of managing multiple complex, high-visibility projects and driving them to successful outcomes.
- Experience in financial technology, implementations at financial institutions, or familiarity with financial services security and compliance requirements is a strong plus.
- Experience building or deploying AI/LLM agents in production, with hands-on experience with relevant tools (eval frameworks, agent tooling, RAG, prompt engineering).
- Experience as a founder, founding team member, or operator, demonstrating an understanding of balancing craft, ownership, and speed.
- A degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience, or an MBA.
