Sierra is seeking an Agent Strategist to join their Financial Services team. This role is pivotal in bringing AI agents to life for enterprise clients, guiding them from initial pilot phases to full production, handling thousands of daily conversations. You will operate at the intersection of product development, agent building, and customer engagement, maintaining a deep understanding of both the technology and the user needs. The goal is to transform complex, high-stakes customer problems into effective AI agents that deliver measurable business impact. This position offers significant ownership and autonomy in driving agent development and customer success within the financial services sector.
Responsibilities
- Own the entire Agent Development Life Cycle, from scoping and conversation design to launch and continuous iteration.
- Translate business goals into high-performing AI agents and relentlessly tune them for optimal real-world performance.
- Serve as a trusted strategic advisor to enterprise customer executives, shaping AI strategies aligned with their business objectives.
- Partner with customer working teams to run sessions, troubleshoot issues, and ensure projects stay on track for launch.
- Identify and communicate unmet customer needs to research and platform teams to influence future product development.
Requirements
- Demonstrated customer obsession with energy for understanding customer businesses and building trusted relationships.
- Clear, direct, and persuasive communication skills across technical and non-technical audiences.
- Strong analytical and critical-thinking skills for strategic problem-solving in ambiguous environments.
- Technical aptitude, including comfort with API documentation, data models, system architecture, and engineering tradeoffs.
- Proven track record of managing multiple complex, high-visibility projects to successful outcomes.
- Genuine interest in Financial Services and improving end-customer experiences.
- Experience in financial technology, implementations at financial institutions, or familiarity with financial services security and compliance requirements is a strong plus.
