Sierra is seeking an Agent Strategist to own the development and deployment of AI agents for enterprise clients. This role sits at the intersection of product, agent building, and customer engagement, requiring a deep understanding of both technology and customer needs. You will transform complex business problems into effective AI agents, guiding them from initial scope and design through to production and continuous iteration. The ideal candidate will act as a trusted strategic advisor to executive leaders, partnering with customer teams to troubleshoot and ensure successful launches. This position offers significant ownership and autonomy, with the opportunity to directly influence product direction by surfacing customer needs to the research and platform teams.
Responsibilities
- Own the Agent Development Life Cycle from initial scope to production launch and iteration.
- Translate business goals into effective AI agents that outperform expectations.
- Serve as a trusted strategic advisor to enterprise leaders, shaping AI strategy.
- Partner with customer working teams, run working sessions, and troubleshoot agent issues.
- Surface unmet customer needs to inform product and platform development.
Requirements
- Customer obsession with energy for understanding customer business and needs.
- Clear, direct, and persuasive communication skills across technical and non-technical audiences.
- Strong analytical and critical-thinking skills for strategic problem-solving in ambiguous environments.
- Technical aptitude to engage with technical concepts, API documentation, data models, and system architecture.
- Proven track record of managing multiple complex, high-visibility projects to successful outcomes.
- Genuine interest in Financial Services and improving end-customer experience.
- Experience in financial technology, implementations at financial institutions, or familiarity with financial services security and compliance requirements is a strong plus.
- Experience building or deploying AI/LLM agents in production, including hands-on work with relevant tools.
- Experience as a founder, founding team member, or operator.
- Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience, and/or an MBA or comparable experience.
