Sierra is seeking a Software Engineer to join their platform team, focusing on building the core infrastructure for customer-facing AI agents. This role involves developing the primitives that power agent creation, orchestration, and deployment, as well as inventing the foundational systems for reliable and steerable agent development. You will contribute to runtime systems, developer tooling, and internal infrastructure, ultimately enabling engineers and customers to build and deploy AI agents more efficiently. Responsibilities
- Build Sierra’s platform, including primitives for agent development, orchestration, and deployment.
- Design and implement systems for reliable and steerable agent development, such as runtime systems and developer tooling.
- Develop internal infrastructure to support AI agent development.
- Create tools and workflows to accelerate agent building and deployment for engineers.
Requirements
- 4+ years of hands-on experience building production systems.
- Degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent professional experience.
- Passion for frontier AI products.
- Pride in building reliable, maintainable, and secure systems that scale.
