We partner with industry leaders and are primarily an in-person company based in San Francisco, with growing international offices. Our co-founders have extensive experience from leading tech companies like Salesforce, Facebook, Google, and OpenAI. We are seeking a Software Engineer, Agent to design and deliver production-grade AI agents that are central to Sierra's growth, driving revenue and transforming how businesses operate at scale. This role involves full ownership of the Agent Development Life Cycle (ADLC), from pilot to iteration, and requires building, tuning, and evolving AI agents in production environments.
Responsibilities
- Design and deliver production-grade AI agents that are highly performant, reliable, and intuitive.
- Drive the Agent Development Life Cycle (ADLC), including building, tuning, and evolving AI agents in production.
- Partner with large enterprises and startups to understand business challenges and build AI agents that transform operations.
- Shape the future of AI agent development and Sierra's platform by surfacing unmet needs and prototyping new tools.
- Collaborate with research, product, and platform teams.
Requirements
- Experience building and scaling end-to-end production systems.
- Strong technical problem-solving skills, especially in fast-changing, ambiguous environments.
- A builder and tinkerer's mindset with high agency.
- Comfort working directly with customers to understand their needs and solve real-world problems.
- Excellent communication skills across technical and non-technical audiences.
- Proficiency in Thai is preferred.
