Responsibilities
- Design and deliver production-grade AI agents that are highly performant, reliable, and drive revenue.
- Manage the entire AI agent development lifecycle (ADLC) from pilot to iteration, establishing best practices.
- Collaborate with large enterprises and startups to understand business challenges and build AI agents that operate at scale.
- Contribute to the evolution of Sierra's core platform by identifying customer needs, prototyping new features, and shaping the future of AI agent development.
- Design and build AI agents for specific industries like telecommunications and media to outperform human agents.
- Develop and refine AI agents for complex customer interactions, such as troubleshooting and personalization.
- Create generalizable AI agent frameworks for industry-specific use cases.
- Facilitate design partnerships for new product initiatives, including agent architectures and generative agent development.
- Experiment with and integrate advanced voice models for enterprise-grade customers.
Requirements
- Experience building and scaling end-to-end production systems.
- Strong technical problem-solving skills, especially in fast-changing, ambiguous environments.
- A builder and tinkerer's mindset with high agency.
- Comfort working directly with customers to understand their needs and solve real-world problems.
- Excellent communication skills across technical and non-technical audiences.
- Experience building or deploying AI/LLM systems in production.
- Experience as a founder or founding engineer.
- Familiarity with AI agent tooling, including eval frameworks, agent tooling, RAG pipelines, and prompt engineering.
- Prior experience with React, TypeScript, and/or Go.
- Previous roles interfacing with customers or leading technical projects with external stakeholders.
- Proficiency in Korean is preferred.
