Sierra is building a platform to enable companies worldwide to create better, more human customer experiences with AI. We are seeking a Product Manager for Agent Development to partner directly with engineers and customers to build and ship AI agents capable of handling thousands of daily customer conversations. This role involves engaging with customers at all levels to understand their requirements, demonstrate Sierra's agent capabilities, and address technical challenges. You will also develop and improve virtual agents to meet customer needs and drive strategic technical initiatives for clients. A key part of this role is shaping the product roadmap by collaborating with engineering and product development teams to implement new features crucial for customer success.
Responsibilities
- Build enterprise-grade AI agents that handle thousands of customer conversations daily.
- Engage with customers to discover and assess their requirements.
- Prepare and present demonstrations of Sierra's AI agent.
- Address and overcome technical challenges by working with technical counterparts.
- Develop and improve virtual agents to meet customer needs and business processes.
- Act as a trusted advisor and drive strategic technical strategies for customers.
- Shape the product roadmap by scoping and implementing new features with engineering and product teams.
Requirements
- 5-7+ years of experience in product development for highly technical products.
- Past experience in Product Management or similar product development roles at or above Senior Product Manager level.
- Experience crafting and tailoring messages for potential customers, including executives.
- Ability to communicate highly technical concepts to both non-technical and technically proficient audiences, including recent AI developments.
- Degree in a technical or related field, or equivalent professional experience.
- AI-related experience, with product development for AI agents being a plus.
- Some coding experience with React, Typescript, and Go.
- Past roles that interface with end customers to influence software development.
