Sierra is seeking an Operations Manager for its Product & Engineering teams. This role will be instrumental in running the operating cadence, designing and optimizing key processes, and building operational artifacts to ensure clarity and alignment across Product, Eng, Design, Legal, Sales, and Ops. The ideal candidate will partner with leads to create scalable frameworks for goal-setting, prioritization, and execution, while also analyzing operational data to identify and implement improvements. This is a key role in scaling the company's operations with quality and intention.
Responsibilities
- Manage the operating cadence for Product & Engineering, including planning cycles, roadmap workflows, and initiative tracking.
- Design and optimize processes such as product reviews, retrospectives, team syncs, and engineering demos.
- Develop and maintain operational artifacts like roadmaps, planning documents, capacity trackers, and dashboards.
- Coordinate cross-functional initiatives across Product, Eng, Design, Legal, Sales, and Ops teams.
- Partner with product, eng, and marketing leads to establish frameworks for goal-setting, prioritization, and execution.
- Analyze operational data and team feedback to identify friction points and implement system improvements.
- Build and continuously improve the outbound operations playbook in partnership with Legal.
Requirements
- 6-8+ years of experience in Product Operations, Business Operations, or Program Management in a high-growth, product-led company.
- Proven track record of building and scaling operational processes from scratch.
- Highly organized and methodical with the ability to bring structure to ambiguous situations.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, effective across various stakeholders and levels.
- Experience partnering closely with Legal, Product, and Engineering teams, including third-party vendors.
- Proficiency with tools like Linear, Figma, Google Drive, or similar for system creation.
- Strong analytical instincts with proficiency in Excel/Sheets.
- Experience with outbound communications compliance (e.g., TCPA, do-not-call, SMS sender registration) is a plus.
- Familiarity with OKR frameworks, roadmap tools, or product analytics platforms is a plus.
- Background in product management, engineering, or consulting/strategy with deep operational exposure is a plus.
