Sierra is seeking an Operations Manager for its Product & Engineering teams. This role is crucial for managing the operational cadence, optimizing key processes, and ensuring alignment across various departments including Product, Engineering, Design, Brand, Sales, and Operations. The ideal candidate will be instrumental in building and maintaining operational artifacts, coordinating cross-functional initiatives, and analyzing data to improve execution and outcomes. This position offers the opportunity to contribute to a leading platform for customer-facing AI agents, working with major global brands.
Responsibilities
- Manage the operating cadence for Product & Engineering, including planning cycles, roadmap workflows, initiative tracking, and sprint planning.
- Design and optimize processes such as product reviews, retrospectives, team syncs, and engineering demos.
- Develop and maintain operational artifacts like roadmaps, planning documents, capacity trackers, and dashboards.
- Coordinate cross-functional initiatives across Product, Eng, Design, Brand, Sales, and Ops teams.
- Partner with leads to establish scalable frameworks for goal-setting, prioritization, and execution.
- Analyze operational data and team feedback to identify friction points and implement improvements.
- Build and refine the internationalization operations playbook for scalable growth.
Requirements
- 6-8+ years of experience in Product Operations, Business Operations, or Program Management in a high-growth, product-led company.
- Proven ability to build and scale operational processes from scratch.
- Highly organized with the ability to bring structure and momentum to ambiguous situations.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency with tools like Linear, Figma, Google Drive, or similar.
- Strong analytical instincts and proficiency in Excel/Sheets.
- SQL or dashboard experience is a plus.
- Experience at an early-stage startup or scaling product org is preferred.
- Familiarity with OKR frameworks, roadmap tools, or product analytics platforms is a plus.
- Background in product management, engineering, or consulting/strategy with deep operational exposure is a plus.
- Experience with vendor management and localization expansion efforts is a plus.
