Responsibilities
- Develop and manage Sierra's third-party event strategy, including industry conferences and sponsorships, to align with pipeline goals, audience fit, and brand impact.
- Design and execute high-impact event experiences, such as executive roundtables, panels, and dinners, defining content and messaging to engage enterprise buyers.
- Create compelling booth content and on-site narratives that clearly communicate the Sierra story and brand.
- Partner with Sales to ensure events function as a pipeline engine, managing pre-event targeting, outreach, sales enablement, and post-event follow-up.
- Integrate event strategies into broader marketing campaigns, connecting them with content, demand generation, social media, and ABM efforts for compounding results.
- Track event performance, gather feedback, and develop playbooks for continuous improvement, including post-event reporting on successes and areas for enhancement.
Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years of event marketing experience, with a focus on planning and executing corporate events, preferably in-house.
- Proven track record in building event programs that drive measurable pipeline, demonstrating strategic decision-making on event investments.
- Experience in designing event formats and developing content and messaging for senior audiences.
- Strong ability to partner with Sales, understanding event contributions to pipeline and managing targeting, outreach, enablement, and follow-up.
- Demonstrated ability to manage producers, agencies, vendors, and sponsorship relationships effectively.
- Exceptional organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail, with the capacity to manage multiple events and timelines concurrently.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills, capable of articulating plans and insights to all organizational levels.
- Willingness to manage events nationwide or internationally and travel as required by a dynamic event calendar.
