Responsibilities
- Lead the design and delivery of production-grade AI agents, ensuring technical excellence, operational reliability, and high customer impact.
- Manage and grow a team of engineers while contributing as an individual contributor, especially in the initial phase.
- Oversee the Agent Development Life Cycle (ADLC), guiding the team from pilot through deployment and iteration.
- Ensure projects are delivered on time, meet customer needs, and scale effectively in production.
- Collaborate with enterprise clients and startups to understand business challenges and build transformative AI agents.
- Shape the future of the AI agent development platform by surfacing unmet needs and prioritizing initiatives with research, product, and platform teams.
Requirements
- Experience building and scaling end-to-end production systems, and leading engineering teams that do the same.
- Strong technical problem-solving skills and ability to guide teams in ambiguous, fast-changing environments.
- Hands-on leadership style that blends high standards with empathy, fostering both speed and quality.
- Proven ability to work closely with customers and translate business needs into technical deliverables.
- Excellent communication skills across technical and non-technical audiences.
- Degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent professional experience.
- Experience developing AI agents is a plus.
- Experience building or deploying AI/LLM systems in production.
- Familiarity with AI agent tools such as eval frameworks, agent tooling, RAG pipelines, and prompt engineering.
- Prior experience with React, TypeScript, and/or Go.
- Experience interfacing with customers or leading technical projects with external stakeholders.
