Responsibilities
- Set the standard for communications in a high-growth, founder-led company.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to increase external awareness of Sierra.
- Manage social media, press relations, and public speaking opportunities to organically raise the company's profile.
- Contribute to the Marcomms team as needed.
Requirements
- Demonstrate an entrepreneurial and scrappy mindset, willing to experiment and take risks.
- Exhibit strong problem-solving skills and a hands-on approach.
- Maintain composure and efficiency under pressure.
- Possess strong execution capabilities and a commitment to high standards.
- Be creative and capable of setting standards for driving conversation in enterprise PR.
- Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Be a great team player with low ego, capable of building and maintaining relationships internally and externally.
- Understand the press and social media landscape, gained from experience in a company, government, or journalism.
- Exercise good judgment and professionalism, with the ability to navigate ambiguity and handle sensitive information.
- Have experience with press and social media from a business, government, or institutional background.
- Be fluent in spoken and written English.
- Have a proven track record working in a fast-paced tech company (preferred).
- Possess knowledge of different European media markets (UK, France, Spain, Germany) (preferred).
