Scale AI is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to design, build, and operate secure, scalable infrastructure that empowers employees. You will join a team focused on implementing automation across identity and access management, endpoint management, and the broader SaaS stack. The role involves leveraging various models and platforms to create applications, slackbots, and dashboards for internal users, streamlining complex workflows through automation and elevating the velocity of G&A teams.
Responsibilities
- Build full-stack tools and applications for internal company use and external customers.
- Design, develop, test, and support full-stack applications on cloud-native distributed systems.
- Integrate with SaaS platforms across the organization in real-time.
- Develop a quality framework and unit tests to ensure product quality, performance, and load.
- Debug and identify system issues.
- Collaborate with broader teams, participate in engineering council, conduct code reviews, and improve delivery processes.
- Manage cloud-based identity and access controls in collaboration with the IAM team, ensuring compliance with security policies.
- Identify areas for corporate technology service improvement and implement self-service solutions through cross-functional collaboration.
Requirements
- 5+ years of related experience with a Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent work experience.
- Proficiency with UI frameworks (e.g., React, Angular) and frontend technologies (HTML, CSS, Typescript).
- Proficiency with backend technologies including API development, databases, and privacy permissions (e.g., Go, Python, PostgreSQL, GraphQL).
- Experience with end-to-end testing and documentation.
- Experience developing secure, scalable, and resilient cloud applications that handle sensitive data.
- Experience with cloud technologies (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP, Docker, Kubernetes).
- Familiarity with compliance frameworks (e.g., SOC 2, ISO 27001, FedRAMP, NIST).
