Scale is seeking an Engineering Manager for its Customer Platform team, focusing on GenAI. This role is pivotal in integrating our platform with external systems, ensuring seamless and reliable connectivity for both internal users and customers. You will drive the strategy, architecture, and development of our connectivity solutions, with a focus on API integration, distributed systems, and a robust data platform. Your leadership will be crucial in maintaining and enhancing our platform's ability to meet the diverse needs of our stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Own large product areas.
- Work cross-functionally with internal and external customers.
- Build features end-to-end, including front-end, back-end, system design, debugging, and testing.
- Deliver experiments with high velocity and quality.
- Manage the entire product lifecycle from conceptualization to production.
- Influence the culture, values, and processes of a growing engineering team.
- Inspire and mentor less experienced engineers.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new product features.
Requirements
- 7-10 years of relevant experience preferred.
- Proven track record of shipping high-quality products and features at scale.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Capability to translate business and product ideas into engineering solutions.
- Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
