Salesforce is seeking a Full Stack Software Engineer to join the Digital Enterprise Technology – Legal, Risk & Compliance (LRC) Application Development team. This role focuses on engineering excellence, building end-to-end features across the full stack using modern AI tooling. You will treat AI coding assistants as a core part of your craft, leveraging tools like Cursor, Claude Code, and Codex daily to enhance speed, explore designs, and improve code quality. The position involves working across frontend, backend, APIs, data, and integrations, primarily on the Salesforce platform, though prior Salesforce experience is not mandatory if strong core engineering skills are present.
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and ship full-stack features end-to-end, including UI, APIs, data models, and integrations, with a focus on clean, maintainable, and well-tested code.
- Develop modern frontend experiences and robust backend services and APIs, applying solid object-oriented and software design principles.
- Utilize AI-assisted development tools throughout the SDLC for scaffolding, refactoring, test generation, debugging, and code review, while ensuring engineering rigor.
- Design and implement integrations using REST APIs, event-driven patterns, and enterprise integration practices.
- Develop on the Salesforce platform using Lightning Web Components (LWC), Apex, SOQL/SOSL, Flows, and the platform's security model.
- Explore and build agentic and AI-powered features, such as workflow automation and AI agents, to enhance business processes.
- Own features through their entire lifecycle, from solution design and development to testing, deployment, and production support.
- Contribute to CI/CD, automated testing, code reviews, and Agile ceremonies, and improve engineering practices within the team.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related technical discipline.
- 4+ years of professional full-stack software engineering experience with strong fundamentals in frontend, backend, APIs, and data.
- Proficiency in modern frontend technologies (JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML, CSS, modern frameworks) and backend development (object-oriented programming, RESTful API design, databases/SQL, data modeling).
- Hands-on, daily experience using AI-assisted coding tools (e.g., Cursor, Claude Code, Codex, GitHub Copilot) with the ability to write precise prompts and critically evaluate AI-generated code.
- Solid understanding of software design patterns, SDLC, Agile methodologies, Git, and CI/CD practices.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to independently design and deliver scalable technical solutions.
- Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.
