Salesforce is seeking a Senior Member of Technical Staff to drive the design and delivery of large-scale, distributed systems within Salesforce’s Security ecosystem. This is a hands-on technical role focused on building scalable, reliable, and secure backend services. The role includes end-to-end ownership of complex initiatives, influencing architectural decisions, and collaborating cross-functionally to deliver high-impact solutions at global scale. The team leads the development of Security Mesh, a new Salesforce product that connects and analyzes security signals across multiple systems and platforms, enabling detection of complex threats. An AI-first mindset is crucial, with a strong orientation toward leveraging AI-driven tools, automation, and intelligent workflows.
Responsibilities
- Drive the design and delivery of large-scale, distributed systems.
- Build scalable, reliable, and secure backend services.
- Take end-to-end ownership of complex initiatives.
- Influence architectural decisions.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to deliver high-impact solutions.
- Develop and enhance the Security Mesh product.
- Connect and analyze security signals across multiple systems and platforms.
- Enable detection of complex threats.
- Surface insights through Security Center and deliver them via Agentforce.
