Salesforce is seeking a Senior Infrastructure Engineer to join the Digital Enterprise Technology (DET) organization. This role will focus on the development, management, and administration of key portfolio management tools like Linear and Airtable, as well as AI tools such as Claude/ChatGPT Enterprise. You will collaborate with engineering, program, and business teams to design effective workflows, integrations, and governance models that enable efficient work planning and tracking at an enterprise scale. This position is crucial for the successful deployment and expansion of these platforms across DET, driving innovation and supporting the company's AI-driven vision.
Responsibilities
- Own the architecture, configuration, and administration of portfolio management tools (Linear, Airtable, Claude/ChatGPT Enterprise).
- Lead the rollout and scaling of new platform capabilities.
- Design and build integrations, automations, and custom workflows connecting various collaboration and productivity systems.
- Develop integrations between SaaS platforms and enterprise systems.
- Automate user provisioning, lifecycle management, and operational processes.
- Improve operational efficiency through automation and reusable tooling.
- Establish and enforce governance standards for platforms.
- Partner with stakeholders to translate requirements into system configurations.
- Monitor platform health, usage, and performance, and troubleshoot issues.
- Evaluate new tools and features, and make recommendations on platform strategy.
- Create documentation, training materials, and enablement resources.
- Provide technical mentorship to other engineers and administrators.
Requirements
- 6+ years of experience in systems administration, infrastructure engineering, or platform engineering, with senior-level ownership of critical systems.
- Hands-on experience developing, managing, and administering Claude Enterprise/ChatGPT Enterprise, or comparable tools.
- Experience supporting collaboration and productivity systems at enterprise scale.
- Strong background building integrations and automations (APIs, webhooks, scripting) between collaboration tools and enterprise systems.
- Proven ability to design scalable data models, permission structures, and workflow configurations.
- Excellent cross-functional communication skills.
- Track record of successfully launching and scaling new tools or platforms.
- Experience with SSO, SAML, OAuth, OpenID Connect, and SCIM.
- Strong understanding of Identity and Access Management (IAM).
- Experience with REST APIs and automation scripting (Python, JavaScript, PowerShell, or similar).
- Experience troubleshooting SaaS integrations and enterprise cloud applications.
