We are seeking Applied Research Scientists to develop cutting-edge computer vision and generative models for our creative tools. This role involves building impactful and novel machine learning projects, leveraging strong software engineering skills, and a deep interest in translating research into novel user interfaces for creative tasks. You will collaborate across teams, including backend, design, and frontend engineering, to ensure your research models are production-ready and harmonize with user interfaces.
Responsibilities
- Develop cutting-edge computer vision and generative models.
- Build impactful and novel machine learning projects.
- Translate research into novel user interfaces for creative tasks.
- Collaborate with backend, design, and frontend engineering teams.
- Bring research models to production.
- Ensure machine learning models work in harmony with user interfaces.
Requirements
- 4+ years of relevant engineering or research experience in machine learning, computer vision, and/or graphics.
- Expertise in programming languages such as Python, C++, CUDA.
- Proficiency with deep learning frameworks such as TensorFlow and PyTorch.
- Very strong programming skills and ability to write clean, maintainable research code.
- Deep interest in building human-in-the-loop systems for creativity.
- Passion for seeing research through from initial conception to eventual application.
- Experience mentoring and teaching other researchers.
- Strong communication, collaboration, and documentation skills.
