Replit is seeking a Technical Sourcer for a 6-12 month fixed-term full-time position. This role is crucial in building the talent pipeline for Replit's Product and Engineering teams. You will be responsible for identifying and engaging top-tier technical talent, particularly in Software Engineering (Product, Infra, AI/ML), Product Management, and Design. The ideal candidate will be a "hunter" with a deep understanding of technology, capable of using AI tools and creative outreach strategies to find "undiscovered" talent across various platforms like GitHub and Twitter. You will partner closely with recruiters and engineering leads, utilizing data to refine sourcing strategies and ensure a high-quality funnel.
Responsibilities
- Identify and engage top-tier talent for Software Engineering, Product Management, and Design roles.
- Build strategic talent pipelines for both niche and evergreen positions.
- Utilize and manage a tech stack of sourcing tools and agents to power the top of the funnel.
- Craft personalized, technical, and compelling outreach messages using AI tools.
- Conduct deep research to map talent across GitHub, Twitter, competitive startups, and developer communities.
- Partner with Recruiters and Engineering Leads to calibrate profiles and refine search strategies.
- Track conversion rates and leverage data to iterate on sourcing strategies.
Requirements
- 4+ years of technical sourcing experience, preferably at a high-growth startup or top-tier tech firm.
- Technical fluency, including understanding of tech stacks and ability to navigate GitHub profiles.
- A "hunter" mentality with a passion for finding the right person for difficult roles.
- Self-directed, comfortable with ambiguity, and able to work at a fast pace.
- Experience with sourcing tools such as Juicebox, LinkedIn Recruiter, Gem, GitHub, and Twitter.
- Experience with ATS systems like Ashby or Greenhouse is preferred.
