Replit is seeking a Staff Product Engineer to join their team. This role involves collaborating with product managers, designers, and other engineers to develop features that enhance user collaboration and accelerate the journey from idea to software. You will be instrumental in shaping and experimenting with features for millions of users, leading major projects from conception to completion, and identifying and resolving complex technical challenges. The position also includes charting technical direction, mentoring junior engineers, and shipping new features and infrastructure.
Responsibilities
- Lead major projects and take new products from 0 to 1.
- Identify and solve the hardest technical and/or quality problems.
- Chart high-level technical direction and ensure project delivery.
- Mentor and develop new senior engineers.
- Ship new features and build infrastructure.
Requirements
- A minimum of 7 years of professional software development experience.
- Experience in a technical leadership role, working cross-functionally.
- Working experience building full-stack applications with TypeScript.
- Working experience building directly for users.
