Replit is seeking a founding engineer to establish the technical direction for Growth Enablement. This role involves rethinking growth systems for an AI-driven future, where agents can analyze performance, identify issues, take action, and learn from outcomes. You will build agentic systems and foundational elements for attribution, audience management, customer lifecycle engagement, referrals, and promotions, spanning web, mobile, billing, and data. Collaborating directly with marketing, sales, and partnerships teams, you will identify high-impact problems and deliver initial solutions that will evolve into platforms to accelerate team velocity and provide clearer insights into durable growth drivers.
Responsibilities
- Design agentic growth systems for performance monitoring, failure diagnosis, experiment execution, and result-based improvement.
- Explore AI-native methods for search engine optimization, campaign operations, audience discovery, and measurement.
- Build acquisition measurement across web and mobile, including click-ID capture, identity matching, server-side conversion APIs, and warehouse attribution.
- Create a unified standard for deep links and context transfer across web, iOS, Android, and app-store handoffs.
- Develop reusable systems for promotions, referrals, campaign landing pages, fraud controls, attribution, and holdout measurement.
- Construct audience pipelines to synchronize warehouse-defined cohorts and exclusions with delivery channels.
- Partner with marketing, sales, and partnerships to translate business needs into technical systems.
Requirements
- 4+ years of professional software engineering experience, with strong backend expertise in TypeScript/Node, Python, Go, or a similar language.
- Proficient SQL skills and experience with data warehouses and event instrumentation.
- Hands-on experience with attribution, marketing technology, deep linking, payment webhooks, or high-scale event pipelines.
- Proven ability to collaborate with non-engineering partners to transform ambiguous business needs into delivered systems.
