Replit is seeking a Senior Product Engineer for its Product Foundry team. This team is responsible for driving industry disruption and achieving 10x scale by launching high-risk, full-stack initiatives that create new product categories. The Product Foundry acts as Replit's internal innovation engine, aiming to transform Replit into the foundational operating system for the next generation of software, where AI Agents are the primary actors. The role involves building for creators and enterprises, equipping them with tools to build anything, anywhere, and operates within a high-agency founding team model with autonomous squads focused on rapid iteration and market validation.
Responsibilities
- Launch high-risk, full-stack 0→1 initiatives that define new product categories.
- Develop technical primitives and Go-To-Market strategies for non-linear growth.
- Build and operate platform systems that other teams depend on.
- Contribute to the development of Replit Agent to build alternatives to popular SaaS vendors.
- Enable Replit Agent to act as a principal within third-party services.
- Integrate Replit functionality into various chat, agentic, and commerce environments.
Requirements
- 4+ years of professional software engineering experience.
- Experience in technical company founding, entrepreneurial ventures, or high-visibility side projects is preferred.
- Understanding of the full agentic software development stack, including helping coding agents build, test, and review code.
- Strong track record of leading complex projects with cross-functional stakeholders.
- Experience building and operating platform systems.
- Strong product judgment, balancing UX, speed, correctness, and long-term maintainability.
- Comfort working with modern web stacks such as TypeScript, React, Node.js, and Postgres.
