Replit is seeking a Learning Experience Creator to develop clear, engaging, and accurate documentation and learning content for millions of users. This role involves transforming product knowledge into accessible formats such as written documentation, guided learning modules, short videos, and interactive experiences. The ideal candidate is a storyteller and a builder who understands how people learn, can capture and hold attention, and uses data and customer feedback to continuously improve content.
The mission is to empower users, both external customers and internal teams, to achieve their goals through self-service content that is so effective, current, and findable that support tickets become unnecessary. Success will be measured by ticket deflection, faster user activation, and high customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Create new documentation and learning content, including help articles, FAQs, tutorials, and getting-started guides, prioritizing based on user data and AI tools.
- Manage the content lifecycle, ensuring all published material remains current and accurate through regular reviews and updates.
- Develop learning experiences across various formats such as written content, short-form video, microlearning, interactive courses, and in-product tips, choosing the best format for the job.
- Plan and maintain a content calendar focused on user needs and impact, addressing common customer questions.
- Ensure content findability through effective titling, tagging, and structuring for both human users and AI assistants.
- Measure and improve content effectiveness based on reader feedback, findability metrics, completion rates, and self-serve resolution data.
- Establish and maintain a consistent, human, and recognizable brand voice across all content formats.
Requirements
- Proven experience creating learning content with a portfolio showcasing documentation, tutorials, courses, or product education across at least two formats, including written content.
- Strong writing skills with the ability to make complex topics clear, engaging, and warm in plain language.
- Gifted storyteller across media, understanding hooks, pacing, and attention spans for written, video, and interactive content.
- Capable short-form video creator, understanding modern platform sensibilities and comfortable producing content with AI-assisted workflows.
- Demonstrated ability as a builder and experimenter, willing to try new formats, take content risks, and use data and customer insights for continuous improvement.
