Replit is seeking a Copywriter to join its Brand & Creative team. This role is responsible for developing and applying brand messaging and written content across various platforms including campaigns, launches, product marketing, events, and major company initiatives. The Copywriter will focus on crafting clear, compelling, and consistent copy, collaborating with Design, Product, and Marketing teams to shape Replit's communication and contribute to the brand's voice. This position reports to the Brand & Creative Lead.
Responsibilities
- Write copy for campaigns, launches, social content, web, presentations, product marketing, and brand initiatives.
- Apply the Replit voice and messaging consistently across multiple touchpoints and formats.
- Support the development of messaging frameworks, naming, and campaign language.
- Collaborate with Designers, Producers, Marketing, Product, and cross-functional teams.
- Contribute to concept development and creative ideation for campaigns and launches.
- Write and refine both short-form and long-form copy.
- Support the creation and maintenance of internal messaging and brand documentation.
- Review and refine copy for clarity, consistency, and quality.
- Partner with external agencies and freelancers.
- Provide hands-on writing support for high-visibility company initiatives.
Requirements
- 3-5+ years of experience in copywriting, brand writing, or creative writing.
- Strong portfolio demonstrating writing across campaigns, brand, marketing, and digital experiences.
- Strong understanding of voice, tone, messaging, and storytelling.
- Ability to write clearly and concisely across various formats and channels.
- Strong collaboration skills with creative and cross-functional teams.
- Strong attention to detail and consistency in language.
- Ability to balance conceptual thinking with execution.
- Experience working in fast-moving creative environments.
- Familiarity with product, technology, or startup environments is a plus.
