You will work alongside top executives and world-class teams on challenging problems at the intersection of deep math and applied AI, focusing on areas like agent reasoning, systems optimization, and improving AI model performance at scale. This role offers the chance to directly influence how millions of users build software and contribute to the future of AI-native software creation.
Responsibilities
- Contribute to engineering problems that advance AI-powered software creation.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on platform infrastructure.
- Prototype novel approaches in AI, systems, or tooling using mathematical rigor.
- Ship work that impacts millions of developers globally.
Requirements
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's, Master's, or PhD in Mathematics, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Statistics, Physics, or a related quantitative field.
- At least one semester of schooling remaining after the internship.
- Demonstrated excellence in competitive mathematics (e.g., IMO, IOI), quantitative research, or advanced coursework.
- Genuine curiosity about AI, agent systems, company building, or developer tooling.
- Experience building on the Replit platform is a plus.
