The Sr. Enterprise Risk Governance Specialist will be a key individual contributor within Enterprise Risk & Trust, responsible for designing, operating, and maturing the organization's enterprise risk management and control environment. This role sits at the intersection of risk, compliance, technology, and AI safety, shaping how the organization navigates a dynamic regulatory and operational risk landscape.

Responsibilities

  • Design, build, and operate a control environment for efficient adherence to organizational obligations.
  • Design and operate an enterprise risk management framework covering identification, measurement, mitigation, monitoring, and reporting.
  • Establish a disciplined approach to risk prioritization.
  • Operate the policy and standards issuance lifecycle, ensuring coverage of emerging obligations.
  • Design, implement, and maintain controls and guardrails for adherence to obligations within risk appetite.
  • Build and maintain a structured controls taxonomy and policy hierarchy.
  • Own and maintain the enterprise risk registry and control inventory.
  • Steward the design, quality, and utilization of key risk-related ecosystem inventories.
  • Champion and enforce data quality and governance standards for risk-related inventories.
  • Build and maintain executive-quality reporting on enterprise risk posture and control efficacy.
  • Contextualize risk reporting for senior leadership and the Board.
  • Continuously improve risk metrics, dashboards, and reporting cadences.
  • Serve as a subject-matter expert on risk governance in external interactions with regulators, customers, and auditors.
  • Contribute to contract negotiations with risk management implications.
  • Monitor the external landscape to anticipate emerging obligations and translate them into internal frameworks.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of progressive experience in enterprise risk management, compliance, internal audit, or a related governance discipline.
  • Demonstrated track record of designing, implementing, and maturing enterprise risk management frameworks and control environments at scale.
  • Prior experience owning or significantly contributing to policy and standards governance programs.
  • Meaningful exposure to AI governance, responsible AI, or technology risk, including AI risk and ethics frameworks.
  • Experience engaging with external regulators, auditors, or enterprise customers on risk and compliance topics.
  • Exceptional ability to design and communicate governance structures and risk frameworks to diverse audiences.
  • Strong analytical and systems-thinking skills.
