This role focuses on bridging the gap between cutting-edge research and production by developing scalable training systems and optimizing the core infrastructure for frontier AI models. You will work on reinforcement learning training loops, distributed GPU training, and massive-scale data pipelines, ensuring numerical stability, throughput, and reproducibility for systems training models across thousands of GPUs and processing petabyte-scale datasets.
Responsibilities
- Architect and optimize core training infrastructure, including RL training loops, distributed GPU systems, and large-scale data pipelines.
- Collaborate with researchers to transform new ideas into reliable, scalable training systems.
- Implement state-of-the-art techniques, ensuring numerical stability and computational efficiency.
- Build internal tooling for launching, monitoring, and reproducing complex experiments.
- Diagnose bottlenecks across the training stack, including GPU memory, communication overhead, and dataloader issues.
- Translate research prototypes into reusable, production-grade infrastructure.
Requirements
- Strong software engineering skills with an understanding of machine learning.
- Ability to implement research papers.
- Deep experience in Distributed Training & Inference or Data Infrastructure.
- Experience working at the intersection of machine learning algorithms, distributed systems, and high-performance computing.
- Commitment to performance, numerical stability, and reproducibility.
- Ability to thrive in high-agency environments and solve complex technical problems.
