About the job
Redis is seeking a Senior Solutions Architect to join their team in Germany. In this role, you will collaborate with customers to design and implement Redis-powered solutions, focusing on both traditional database workloads and the emerging AI landscape. You will be instrumental in shaping how Redis is integrated into AI architectures, working hands-on with customers to drive Proofs of Concept (POCs), pilots, and evaluations. The ideal candidate is a patient, pragmatic, and creative problem-solver with a strong technical background and a focus on customer business objectives. This is an opportunity to be at the forefront of AI infrastructure development with a leading in-memory data platform.
Responsibilities
- Help customers meet technology and business requirements using Redis products and services, including AI use cases like vector search and RAG.
- Understand and verify customer business needs and use cases, from traditional databases to AI architectures.
- Work closely with customer technical teams to ensure the success of POCs and pilots.
- Collaborate with the sales team to develop account strategies and identify new opportunities.
- Present Redis capabilities and its role in AI infrastructure to customers, highlighting business impact.
- Use customer feedback to improve technical materials and inform product management and R&D on evolving AI use cases.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in pre-sales engineering for enterprise software, ideally database engineering.
- Hands-on experience with server-side software development and Linux.
- Experience with scalable, highly available distributed systems.
- Familiarity with AI/ML application architectures (vector databases, RAG pipelines, LLM-based applications) is a plus.
- BS in Computer Science, BA, or equivalent work experience.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to travel regularly to customer sites.
- Excellent written and spoken English.
