Responsibilities
- Own the end-to-end ML model lifecycle, including data exploration, feature engineering, training, benchmarking, deployment, and monitoring.
- Leverage Large Language Models (LLMs) to address novel problems and develop new product capabilities.
- Apply diverse techniques such as deep learning, gradient boosting, and causal inference to solve problems.
- Quantify the impact of work through rigorous experimentation, including A/B tests and statistical methods.
- Collaborate with product and business leaders to translate models and insights into actionable strategies and user-facing features.
Requirements
- Currently pursuing a B.S., M.S., or Ph.D. in Data Science, Computer Science, Math, Physics, Economics, Statistics, or a related quantitative field, with an expected graduation between Dec 2027 - 2029.
- Solid understanding of the mathematical foundations of machine learning, statistics, probability, and optimization.
- Strong interest or experience with AI, including integrating LLMs and agents into applied solutions.
- Proficiency in Python and common Data Science libraries (pandas, scikit-learn, NumPy, PyTorch).
- Experience with SQL for data wrangling in modern data warehouses (e.g., Snowflake, BigQuery, Redshift, Clickhouse).
- Practical experience in curating datasets and building/evaluating ML models.
- Ability to clearly explain complex concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
