Perplexity is seeking a Product Manager focused on SMB Growth to join our team. In this role, you will work closely with design and engineering to shape the product systems and experiences that enable more users to discover, adopt, and derive lasting value from Perplexity's agentic AI product, Computer. The ideal candidate possesses strong communication and writing skills, a vision for innovative technology, and a drive to reimagine work for increased efficiency and creativity. You should combine product intuition with analytical rigor, and be prepared to highlight your most impactful growth initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Manage the SMB design partner program from inception to completion, focusing on testing agents against real business workflows and demonstrating revenue impact.
- Recruit and onboard design partners by defining profiles, setting up project contexts, and establishing key metrics.
- Develop and refine first-party skill packs for Computer to meet professional operator standards.
- Translate partner feedback into a prioritized roadmap for skills, connectors, and capabilities, writing specifications and collaborating with relevant teams.
- Lead case study development with partnerships, product, and growth marketing teams, measuring results and packaging them for various channels.
- Drive adoption of relevant capabilities among existing SMB operators through onboarding, lifecycle management, and in-product recommendations.
Requirements
- 2-4 years of total work experience with a strong academic record.
- 2 years in investment banking, strategy consulting, or a similar high-intensity analytical role, followed by operating experience.
- Experience running or closely supporting marketing workflows such as paid social, lifecycle marketing, CRO, or SEO.
- Proficiency in using agents for real work, including writing prompts, skills, and building automation systems.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to manage relationships with founders or heads of marketing.
- Comfort with SQL for data analysis, cohort identification, segment validation, and dashboard interpretation.
- Ability to operate at high velocity in a fast-paced, early-stage environment.
