Perplexity is seeking product managers to join a small, highly leveraged team focused on building innovative products that accelerate human productivity. Building on the success of Computer, a defining product for the new era of agentic AI, we are transforming how millions of users interact with AI for research, shopping, investing, and curiosity, moving towards a paradigm where AI translates knowledge into action. Product managers will collaborate closely with design and engineering, concentrating on the core Computer and search experience. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication and writing skills, the ability to envision innovative technology, and a drive to reimagine work for greater efficiency and creativity. A passion for a specific industry, where you can act as a domain expert and drive innovation, is highly valued.
Responsibilities
- Identify opportunities for innovation and value creation within enterprise industries.
- Develop and articulate new user experiences and a long-term product vision.
- Leverage understanding of product-led growth and retention strategies.
- Collaborate with engineering and design teams to align product capabilities and expectations.
- Partner with research teams to guide non-deterministic models towards high-value user outcomes.
- Utilize data and user research to gain insights from quantitative and qualitative data.
- Make decisive product choices even when faced with uncertainty.
Requirements
- Significant experience in product management and leadership.
- Proven experience working with data and key metrics.
- Experience with products focused on productivity and knowledge work.
- Experience in prototyping and data visualization.
- Experience building data-driven flywheels for continuous improvement.
- Ability to thrive in a small, agile team environment, demonstrating initiative and a desire for ownership.
- A minimum of 4 years of product management experience.
