Parallel Wireless is seeking a driven PHY SW Engineer to join their R&D team. This role will focus on developing advanced, carrier-grade 4G cellular communication solutions, emphasizing performance, reliability, and AI-driven development. The engineer will contribute to building the software behind next-generation cellular networks and shaping the future of telecommunications through innovative and sustainable solutions.
Responsibilities
- Design and build high-performance digital processing software for the baseband modem.
- Optimize, debug, and root-cause complex real-time issues in carrier-grade systems.
- Integrate, test, and bring up software modules into the product.
- Shape software architecture for advanced cellular PHY solutions.
- Apply agentic software development and LLM-based workflows.
Requirements
- 2+ years of hands-on software development experience with a strong focus on C++ and object-oriented design.
- Excellent C++ skills and solid Python experience.
- Hands-on experience with agentic software development and LLM-based workflows.
- Basic understanding of AI internals and RAG.
- Confidence working with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and Agile development practices.
- BSc in Electronics, Communication Engineering, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Signal Processing, or another relevant engineering discipline.
