Pallet is building AI Agents to transform the physical economy, a $12 trillion global industry. We are seeking a Software Engineer, Agent Delivery to deploy production AI agents within large supply chain companies. This role involves working directly with customer teams to understand critical workflows, design integrations, debug production systems, and implement AI-powered solutions in complex environments. You will own deployments from discovery to launch, acting at the intersection of engineering, product, and customer operations, and will spend time with customers both remotely and onsite.
Responsibilities
- Lead high-impact customer deployments from problem definition through production, designing, prototyping, building, and deploying AI agents and workflows.
- Embed in customer workflows and build relationships to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
- Make design decisions across agent behavior, application logic, data, evals, security, and reliability.
- Connect Pallet agents to customer systems, APIs, and data, collaborating with their engineering and ops teams.
- Debug failures, evaluate and improve agent quality post-launch.
- Translate field learnings into reusable agents, integrations, evals, and frameworks, and provide feedback to Product and Engineering.
Requirements
- 1+ years of experience building and owning production systems in high-growth startups or demanding environments.
- Strong experience with APIs, integrations, authentication systems, and event-driven architectures.
- Proven ability to debug complex systems in production.
- Comfortable operating in ambiguous environments with incomplete documentation and evolving requirements.
- Strong communication skills and ability to build trust with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience working directly with customers is a strong plus.
