About the job
Forward Deployed AI Engineers work directly with customers to own Gen AI strategy and implementation. You will build end-to-end workflows, take them to production, and solve real-world problems at the largest scale. This role offers ample opportunity to contribute learnings from the field back to the Palantir AIP product suite, extending Palantir's existing footprint and strategy into new markets and problem spaces opened up by Gen AI. Responsibilities are akin to a hands-on AI startup CTO, working in small teams to own the delivery of high-stakes projects with clients, including building LLM workflows at scale and interacting with customers to understand their needs and set AI strategy. The most impact will be driven by implementing solutions into the real world of partner organizations.
Responsibilities
- Build end-to-end Gen AI workflows and take them to production.
- Solve real-world problems at scale using Gen AI.
- Contribute field learnings back to the Palantir AIP product suite.
- Extend Palantir's strategy into new markets and problem spaces with Gen AI.
- Own the delivery of high-stakes projects with clients in small teams.
- Interact with customers to understand their needs and set AI strategy.
- Implement solutions into partner organizations.
Requirements
- Experience building solutions with LLMs and a deep understanding of the Gen AI landscape.
- Strong foundation in Machine Learning basics (Evaluation, Training, Problem Decomposition).
- Strong engineering background (preferred fields: Computer Science, Mathematics, Software Engineering, Physics, Machine Learning).
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, C++, TypeScript/JavaScript, or similar.
- Ability and interest in traveling up to 25% to client sites, with flexibility.
