We are seeking a Product Manager to lead the strategy and execution for Rosalind Workbench, a platform designed to empower life sciences researchers with AI. You will work closely with academic, biotech, and pharma professionals to understand their needs and translate emerging AI capabilities into intuitive, impactful products. This role offers a unique opportunity to define the future of AI-driven scientific discovery, making advanced AI more accessible and useful for researchers. You will collaborate with engineering, research, and design teams to build tools that accelerate scientific progress and improve human health outcomes. This position is based in San Francisco, CA.
Responsibilities
- Shape the strategy and roadmap for Rosalind Workbench, prioritizing high-impact workflows.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to transform scientific data, tools, and models into intuitive workflows.
- Prototype with various tools and models to validate ideas with scientists.
- Collaborate with policy and go-to-market teams to build responsible access to scientific capabilities.
- Drive enterprise readiness for pharma and biotech, addressing data protection, integrations, and security.
- Own product execution from discovery through launch and iteration.
- Integrate scientific rigor into the user experience, ensuring reproducibility and traceability.
- Utilize product data, feedback, and market insights to enhance scientific utility and impact.
Requirements
- Proven track record of shipping products that solve complex user problems, ideally taking products from zero to one.
- Substantive life sciences experience through research or industry, with the ability to discuss scientific concepts with researchers.
- Combine strategic judgment with a hands-on builder mindset, including prototyping and focusing on use cases.
- Experience building model evaluations or benchmarks, particularly for scientific or agentic workflows.
- Ability to translate between scientists, engineers, designers, and commercial teams, with technical fluency in data integrations and model limitations.
- Sound judgment regarding evidence, uncertainty, privacy, and safety in product development.
- Experience shipping products into life sciences, pharma, or regulated research environments, understanding data governance and compliance.
- Deep care for helping scientists make discoveries, combining curiosity with a high bar for usability.
