About the job
The Partner Applied AI Engineer team focuses on the safe and effective deployment of Generative AI applications for developers and enterprises. As a founding member of this team, you will act as a trusted advisor and technical partner to customers, guiding them through their AI adoption strategy. Your role involves developing tailored GenAI use cases for various industries and driving these initiatives from prototype to production through hands-on technical guidance and collaboration. You will work closely with systems integrators and their strategic clients to transform businesses using AI solutions like customer service automation and novel applications leveraging advanced AI models.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the technical lead embedded with systems integrators (GSIs, RSIs, boutique SIs) to ideate and build novel applications on our API for their customers.
- Collaborate with senior SI and customer stakeholders to identify high-value GenAI applications and build a comprehensive backlog for their AI roadmap.
- Accelerate customer time to value by building hands-on prototypes and providing strategic guidance.
- Manage relationships with SI and customer stakeholders to ensure successful deployment and scaling of AI applications.
- Codify solution packages and architectural patterns to expedite deployment for customers and partners.
- Lead technical support for partners' initial projects and mentor their technical teams towards self-sufficiency with AI solutions.
- Share knowledge, codify best practices, contribute to open-source repositories, and publish resources to internal and external knowledge bases to scale the Partner Solutions Architect function.
- Validate, synthesize, and deliver high-signal feedback to Product and Research teams.
Requirements
- 8+ years of technical consulting experience or equivalent, with experience managing C-level technical and business relationships in complex global organizations.
- Experience leading complex technical projects and programs with multiple stakeholders, preferably within or through a systems integrator.
- Industry experience with programming languages such as Python or Javascript.
- Experience leading complex implementations of Generative AI and/or traditional ML solutions.
- Experience building and/or delivering prototypes using the OpenAI API.
- Effective presenter and communicator capable of translating business and technical topics for all audiences, including senior leaders.
- Ability to own problems end-to-end and acquire necessary knowledge to complete tasks.
- Humble attitude, eagerness to help colleagues, and a strong desire to contribute to team success.
