The AI Deployment Manager (ADM) role is a specialist post-sales enablement position focused on delivering high-impact enablement and adoption services across OpenAI's product suite. This role involves designing and executing technical enablement experiences to support a repeatable adoption framework, driving sustained activation, expanding product usage, and demonstrating measurable business value. You will help customers understand and correctly apply deployment harnesses, evaluation layers, and operational controls for reliable AI use. This position blends deep technical fluency, instructional design, and customer advisory, leading live trainings and workshops for diverse audiences to ensure effective real-world application of OpenAI's products.
Responsibilities
- Own the technical enablement of OpenAI products, including ChatGPT Enterprise, Codex, Agents, and API capabilities, defining effective enablement patterns for adoption.
- Lead customer training and enablement across the full customer lifecycle, from onboarding through expansion and long-term adoption.
- Design and deliver high-impact training engagements, including onboarding, advanced capability trainings, executive briefings, hackathons, and workshops.
- Drive customer activation, sustained usage, and measurable business value through structured enablement and deployment programs.
- Partner with Sales, AI Success Engineers, Solutions Engineering, and Product teams for seamless customer experience.
- Develop and refine reusable training assets, playbooks, and best practices based on customer and regional patterns.
- Gather and synthesize customer feedback from engagements to inform product and program improvements.
Requirements
- 4+ years of experience in customer-facing or instructional roles, engaging C-level and senior technical audiences in complex enterprise environments.
- Exceptional presentation and communication skills, effectively conveying technical concepts to senior and executive audiences.
- Strong technical depth across coding, agents, and APIs, with practical understanding of AI system production deployment, evaluation, and operation.
- Proven experience leading structured technical trainings (e.g., API bootcamps, workshops) with the ability to design learning journeys and handle live questions.
- Ability to connect technical features to concrete business outcomes like productivity, efficiency, cost reduction, or revenue impact.
- Humble attitude, eagerness to help others, and a desire to acquire necessary knowledge.
- Comfortable thinking on your feet in live customer settings, adapting quickly to new information and shifting priorities.
- Personal commitment to fostering the safe and ethical evolution of AI.
