We are seeking software engineers to develop next-generation high-speed interconnect technologies for GPU and high-performance computing servers. This role involves close collaboration with hardware architects, silicon designers, and platform software experts to drive innovation in factories and data centers. The ideal candidate will possess strong C++ programming skills, a deep understanding of networking concepts, systems software fundamentals, and current hardware architecture. Excellent communication and meticulous engineering practices are essential for providing robust and efficient solutions to validate and test next-generation processors.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with architecture, hardware, and driver teams throughout the product development lifecycle of computing and graphics processors.
- Develop software tools and infrastructure for new chip development, validation, and productization.
- Assess new hardware features and architect diagnostic software using pre-beta CUDA extensions.
- Understand and apply knowledge of hardware and software architectures.
Requirements
- BS or MS degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent experience.
- 8+ years of experience in a related hardware/software position.
- Strong C/C++ programming skills.
- Familiarity with computer architecture and ability to work closely with hardware.
- Experience with PCIE, NVLink, or server IO technologies like Infiniband, Ethernet is a plus.
- Previous experience working on a large system software codebase is preferable.
- Very strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
- Ability to self-manage, demonstrate leadership, and possess good interpersonal skills.
