You will lead a team of coding agents, integrate new tools and technologies, and apply deep business knowledge to solve complex problems with AI. This is primarily an applied engineering position focused on leveraging foundation models, with opportunities to demonstrate the advantages of customized models over standard prompting and retrieval techniques.
Responsibilities
- Develop and manage agentic systems from problem definition with finance partners through production reliability, including evaluation harnesses, retrieval quality, and cost.
- Define architecture, shared components, patterns, and quality standards for AI engineering within Finance, mentoring other engineers and representing AI to leadership.
- Explore and implement cutting-edge applied AI techniques, including new models, agent frameworks, retrieval methods, and tooling, conducting experiments to inform build/no-build decisions.
- Collaborate with the model team to utilize, fine-tune, and post-train NVIDIA's Nemotron models for specific finance use cases.
Requirements
- Master's or PhD (or equivalent experience) in computer science, engineering, data science, or a related technical field.
- 12+ years of experience building and operating production systems, with at least 3 years focused on LLM/agent systems.
- Proven track record as a key technical contributor, having shipped and maintained multiple LLM-powered applications or agents in production.
- Hands-on experience with skill-based workflows, evaluation harnesses, and agent orchestration frameworks.
- Expertise in advanced retrieval techniques and deep, practical experience in designing evaluations and observability for LLM systems.
