NVIDIA is seeking senior engineers to enhance its AI platform, focusing on performance optimizations within deep learning frameworks like JAX. The goal is to create a robust, efficient, and scalable platform for data handling, training, and analysis across various deep learning solutions. This role requires strong programming and system design skills, along with excellent communication and planning abilities, to contribute to the next generation of numerical computing and machine learning research tools.
Responsibilities
- Contribute to NVIDIA's JAX development efforts.
- Design and implement core JAX components to optimize performance on NVIDIA products.
- Collaborate with AI researchers and leaders to develop advanced models.
- Build tools to improve the efficiency of AI system development teams.
- Connect cutting-edge numerical computing, simulation, and deep learning research with real-world product applications.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- 6+ years of relevant experience.
- Proficiency in C/C++ and Python programming.
- Experience with machine learning frameworks and their internal workings (e.g., PyTorch, TensorFlow, scikit-learn).
- Demonstrated experience developing customer-facing solutions, managing feature requests and bug fixes.
- Strong technical foundation in CPU and GPU architectures, numeric libraries, and modular software design.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with multi-functional teams, principles, and architects across organizational boundaries and geographies.
