NVIDIA Research is seeking a world-class generative AI researcher to join its fundamental generative AI research team. The team focuses on advancing generative AI methods for scientific applications, including biomolecular design (small molecule, protein, and RNA design), with the goal of creating research that pushes boundaries and has a real-world impact. This role offers the freedom and bandwidth to conduct groundbreaking research within a collaborative team that consistently publishes at top venues in machine learning and AI for science.
Responsibilities
- Research, design, and implement novel, large-scale generative AI methods.
- Publish original research.
- Collaborate with team members, research teams, and product teams.
- Speak at conferences and events.
- Transfer technology to product groups.
Requirements
- Ph.D. in Computer Science/Engineering, Statistics, or equivalent experience.
- 2+ years of relevant industry or postdoc research experience.
- Excellent knowledge of the theory and practice of generative AI.
- Experience in building generative models for molecules, molecular dynamics, proteins, RNA, or other scientific data.
- Excellent programming skills in prototyping environments like Python, C++, and parallel programming (e.g., CUDA).
- Knowledge of deep learning frameworks such as PyTorch.
- Outstanding research track record.
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
